my 1st blog

i've heard so much about blogging and it being the cool new thing to do, but have never quite got down to doing it yet. So today when I saw Pooja's new blog and considering that she is a super busy architecture student and can still do it, i thought, "hmm ok, maybe i can do it too". So here goes:

I'm at work and it's been a reeeally dull day so i feel like going home, but the lack of a second car is forcing me to stay put till Sid is ready to leave. i just wish public transportation in C'ville was better. I am so ready to move to a big city.........I feel v. handicapped and stifled here sometimes, but it's an "intellectually infested", clean, low crime place, so i fear the big move too.

I recently joined the Cville recipes and cooking club and have met some nice people there. I miss Mumbai, I miss my family and I absolutely miss my friends who are now scattered all over the globe. I try to keep abreast of all that is happening in Hollywood and as a result of moving to the US 3 yrs ago, have lost all track of the happenings in Bollywood. I think the Anna Nicole case is getting far too much publicity than it warrants! and what the hell is wrong with the justice system here? they can't make up their minds where they want to bury her and no one knows who the little kid's father is. i think they'd have a better chance at resolving all these issues if they went to the 'Maury Pauvich' show than they do by going to court!
